About N'gelZ

My photo
A photography obsessor who loves to play the piano and strum her guitar, an absolute beach-maniac, sunset lover, nuts about cats and arts, like traveling. ~She sees life as one great big joke, a dance that's walked a song that's spoke, she laugh so hard that she almost choke when she think about herself. ~You see she's just a human and While she knows herself as a creation of God, she's obligated to realize and remember that everyone else and everything else are also God's creation

Oh yes, he's cute,he's furry and plushy,he's black and white, he loves eating, he's funny,he's overweight and clumsy. Meet Po,the big, fat panda!

"Get ready to feel the thunda!"

I had a good time watching him in the second Kung Fu Panda where he fights alongside the Furious Five. He has to confront his past when Lord Shen serves as a threat to Kung Fu and tries to conquer all of China. Since the first film, Po has pretty much overcome the physical challenges of Kung Fu, this time having to face its spiritual challenges when he is afflicted by vague images from his past.

"I'm not the big fat panda, I am the big fat panda,Skadoosh!"

What I like most about this particular panda is he's personality, an easygoing, and can often be playful and cocky like a big kid. He's clumsy, portly, and having low self-confidence, only dreaming he could be a great Kung Fu warrior while feeling stuck in his unfulfilling life at his his father‘s noodle shop. But when given the chance, he is all too eager to learn Kung Fu the hard way, enduring physical beatings as well as insults, in hopes of changing who he is and becoming like the Furious Five, who are his idols. But Po finds the inner strength to save the Valley of Peace by using his own skills and ingenuity, and in the end he becomes his own kind of hero. Simple and good-natured, Po doesn't seem to hold grudges, even against those who doubt him or treat him with contempt :)

I've seen some of the comments made by some reviewers on this animation, most of it says that it is a good movie and I don't really quite understand on some comments saying that this movie is a waste of time, stupid, and so on. Well, for me it's a good action-packed animated story. Worth seeing and enjoyable.

One thing I noticed, other than the "if you believe in yourself, then you can..." was that it encourages you to have a little faith in the most unsuspecting of people. We all can at times be the critic and limit each other, but this film challenges that. Again I thought it was great and I believe that by believing in ourselves and others then world can only become a better place.

It's Pixie All Over Again..

Short is cool.
So I made a 'vow' to myself not long ago, that I will never do my hair a 'pixie' again. But I guess, I had just broke the vow. Sometimes I just need a break from having a long 'straight' tress which I presume what most of the girls are nuts about nowadays (and perhaps the guys as well).

Perhaps, it's just my 'nature' to be a little different at times.
So what if I wear my hair short? At least I still have them (hair) on my head, it's just a 'lil shorter. And it will grow soon. So what's to worry? When it comes to cutting the hair short, most of the girls will freaked out and some may have a very TOUGH time to decide, which I find it a 'lil bit funny sometimes and yes, I don't understand WHY????? Well lets put in the 'malay-english slang' : " pixie/short still look cute and nice what" (LOL).

Thoughts in the Rain

Sometimes when I’m all alone,
and I see rain drops are falling outside again.
There’s happiness that I feel because rain is here once again.
Some may feels gloomy when it rains
and some just want to feel it in their hand.
But me I just love it when rain drops falls into my face.
Oh the magic that rain brings, it makes you feel unique.
It may bring you sadness, wet feeling in toes and clothes
but I just see happiness when it rains.

It's Holiday Again!

Yay! It's holiday again. At least I can stop staring at the SPOT/LANDSAT Image for a couple of days-it's really tiring and kinda boring to do the same stuff almost everyday. You see, I'm those type who like to do different things. I guess it explains why I'm so nuts with creative stuff. Talking about creativity, I think I'm starting to lose it ever since I'm stuck with doing my currently given tasks.

Enjoy your holiday everyone! Weeeeee!!!

I am Thankful

Be thankful for what you have; you will end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.

Something has made to be even more thankful and grateful with what I have;something that had really opened my eyes and makes me realised that i should be grateful even for the simplest thing and knowing that this moment, all i have is all i need.

She Tells Her Love

She tells her love while half asleep,
In the dark hours,
With half-words whispered low:
As Earth stirs in her winter sleep
And puts out grass and flowers
Despite the snow,
Despite the falling snow.

Little Ones

So...My Comot gave birth to four new kittens; two Siamese kittens and another two "Sylvesterian" kittens (they look very much like the daddy-my male cat,Akin). We have like 15 cats living with us, yeah i know it's quite a number. But 15 is not as much as you think compare to some people, I remembered how mum told us about the conversation she had with her cousin about cats:

Cousin: Soo... do you have any pets at your home?
Mum: Oh yeah, dogs and cats. I have like 15 (stressing the 15) cats!
Cousin: (in not-so-surprised tone)wow.... I have 25 cats and they are everywhere in the house..

*One thing i like it when mum told us a story, she likes to do voice mimicking.

I haven't really have a name for him
one of the Siamese kitten
They look to me like twins ^^

One Sunny Day..

So, it was a sunny day; blue sky, warm sunshine,a perfect day to be outside.I was sitting outside my house, doing nothing, just merely sitting down and enjoying the day when a guy walk passed by in front of my house, almost in a 'cat-walk' style:

Me: (Staring at the guy)
Guy:("cat-walk" walking mode)
Me: (keep on staring)
Guy:(Noticed me staring, thought he was cool, hence put on his sunglass and continue 'cat-walking')

He was walking right in front of my house when suddenly...

Guy: Adoiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!! Sial punya parit!!
Me: (trying hard to control myself from laughing)

Unfortunately, the guy accidentally fell into a small drain just after he put on his sunglass.

I guess that guy really needs to learn how to cat-walk and be extra watchful with his steps ^^

It's a Coffee Story

Mum used to bring me for a cup of coffee at one of the coffee shop in town (well she called it 'kadai kupi'), and her favorite drink, of course, the well known Nescafe. So she took me, one day to her favorite coffee shop:

Shop owner: "apa ko mo minum"?
Mum: "Bagi Nescafe"
Shop owner: "kau moi?" (pointing at me)
Me: "Teh C' (smiling)
He arrived with our orders a few minutes later. Mum was just about to take a sip from the cup when...

Mum: "bos, ko punya nescafe ni banyak semut di dalam oo."
Shop owner: (looking at the Nescafe) Oooo, ya oo,.Itu gula aaa manyak sumut bah (smiling), itular ada sumut tu..(smiling and he walked away).
Me: (laughing).

At that point, I was not sure if the old Chinese man understand what my mum was trying to tell him, or simply ignore the 'little problem', - ants are harmless anyway, nobody really cares, just dip the dead ants out from the coffee and everything's alright . I am pretty sure you will do just the same thing at home if your sugar has been 'invaded' by ants.

Perhaps the coffee shop needs to learn more about giving a 'good customer service"....

Always make sure no dead 'alien' inside your drink ^^

searching for answers
that evaded me for so long,
i got lost in a maze of treachery
hidden under a mask of innocence;

it’s been so long
words kept me awake
all night long, making
me restless and confused;

drowning in the wishes
of a long lost past,
i let my life down,
i let myself down;

in the midst of the night
under the velvet skies
i surrendered to life
i whisper for forgiveness;

so with a smile on my lips
and a wish on my heart
i give faith(hope) one more reason
i give life another chance
to make my wish come true;

My heart still speaks that I need you, but i guess i just have to take a break from you for a while.. I have to dump you.. I'm sorry my  Nescafe Latte Mocha,.. I have found Green Tea which can do much better than you.

GIS course

Being a GIS analyst, I was forced to attend a course few days ago, I was exhausted yet I was glad I manage to gain new knowledge and experiences. And here's one of the scene inside the room;

Presenter 1: GIS is bla, bla, bla, bla,blablablabal..
Audience: (silence)
Presenter: blablablablabla..
Audience: (still silence).
Presenter: Any questions?
an audience: (raised his hands up) Bos, buli kasi basar kah tu screen projector tu?.................................

I must say the question had somehow annoyed the presenter yet at the same time brought cheers inside the room.

Airport Scene

The plane touched down, and I made my way quickly to the ladies washroom while my luggage were downloaded from the cargo:

Man: (walking out from the ladies washroom)
Me: (stood bewildered thinking "what the hell he's doing inside the ladies room?")
Man: Uii, pa ko buat ni (pointing at me), p saanaa ko sebelah (pointing the men washroom without looking at the sign).
Me: Sir, this IS the LADIES washroom.
Man:(Give one of those Mr.Bean's facial expression- owh ya knaw, when Mr. Bean did something wrong but pretending he's innocent..)

Obviously he really needs to pee that he lost his way to the ladies washroom.

Please look at the sign carefully the next time you are in the 'emergency' mode.

Monday scene

Made my way from the parking lot to my office.
Me: (walking)
Saw a stranger few hundred meters in front of me.
Me: (keep on walking).
Stranger passed by.
Stranger: (smile).
Stranger: Hi Cherry.
Me: (confused +amused+surprised = blur )

No. My name is not Cherry. I had totally no idea who is the stranger.

Happy Mother's Day

I said a Mother's Day prayer for you
to thank the Lord above
for blessing me with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love.
I thanked God for the caring
you've shown me through the years,
for the closeness we've enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.
I know how often I took you for granted
when I was growing up.
I always assumed you'd be there
when I needed you...
and you always were.
But I never really thought about what that meant
till I got older and began to realize
how often your time and energy were devoted to me.
And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me
and I bless the Lord for giving me
the best mother there could be...

My Childhood

My childhood was fun,
tough and exciting.
My childhood was one
where there wasn’t much fighting.
This was my childhood.

My childhood was filled
with family and friends.
My childhood was filled
with love that tied up loose ends.
This was my childhood.
